Boy oh boy it's a cold one today! We were hit with a last minute icestorm & snowstorm that's kept me from venturing too far from our house. Hey, there's no better way to ring in the weekend than by working from home all cozied up with a fur blanket - right?

When January hits, you'll rarely find me getting all dolled up. More often than not i'm in cozy joggers or jeans with a sweater, a scarf and a huge puffer coat. This is certainly the case for today's weekend-inspired winter wear.I loved that this casual black sweater gets a little flair in the form of some dramatic bell sleeves (under $40) and pairs perfectly with casual jeans, dress pants or skirts. It's quickly become a staple in my closet and i've even ordered in a few additional colors as a new winter layer.
