How to Wear The Faux Fur Trend

One of the trends i've been really crushing on this winter is the the Faux Fur jacket. I think it looks so chic, whenever I see another blogger rocking it on Instagram. But, sometimes I'm not sure how to translate a look that's a bit "extra" into everyday life.

This simple, yet chic, outfit I wore over the weekend was inspired by some bad*ss bloggers - but, made to fit into everyday life here in the Indianapolis. (This isn't New York after all) I love how this faux fur pink jacket (sold out, similar) mixes perfectly with a casual turtleneck and my go-to pair of dark denim jeans. If you're going out for the night, you could even add a little pop with a fun pair of heels ( I LOVE these).

Long story short, if you're trying to find a way to rock a teddy coat, a shearling coat or a faux fur look - try this outfit on for size. My secret? Start with the coat and then head into your closet to find a top that compliments it well. For this coat, I typically reach for a turtleneck, a sweater or a blush dress if i'm going out for date night.
