Happy Wednesday, friends!

Whew. It feels good to sit down and put together a blog post. It's moving week, which means i've been living on coffee and working far too hard! But, as of Friday we'll say goodbye to rental life forever! (woot woot) I couldn't be more excited. But, apart from being happy about the new house, i'm ecstatic to actually be able to put together home decor posts for you guys. It's been so highly requested, but apartments never seemed to do the decor justice. I'll be slowly unveiling our new house, so let me know if there are any specific topics you'd like to see covered.

Now on to today's outfit, which happens to be one of my absolute favorites lately. Fun fact: My mom actually found this skirt. I swear, no matter how old I get she always finds the best clothes. Mom's always know best - right? I fell in love with it the second she sent it to me. And, even more so when I tried it on.

It's the perfect spring skirt to wear to work, and then add a fun denim jacket for after-work drinks. For this look I added a girlfriend denim jacket, which is all the rage right now. I love layering mine over girly pieces like ruffled skirts or dresses to create a look thats feminine yet still trendy.
