Our Back Balcony Update: The Plan

When we first moved into our home in April of 2018 the back balcony was the least of our worries. From finding furniture to fill the entire house to picking out wall art, rugs and decor I honestly didn't give out small outdoor space a second thought. We moved in, put some of the furniture we'd used for our Apartment's patio space added a small rug and called it a day. (There's a post on what it looked like here)

But, now that we have the rest of the house squared away, we're so excited to spend a little more time creating our dream patio space this year. The goal for this space is to create a cozy outdoor haven for morning coffee, summer BBQ's and lounging around when the temperatures get just a bit warmer.

Ideally, we'd love to have our back balcony be an extension of the blushes, whites, greys and wood tones in our home. The biggest change will likely be the decking we put in over the builders' wood we have now (see below for the current set up). I have a feeling it's going to completely transform the space!
