How to Fake A Green Thumb (And Get Away With It)
When it comes to gardening not all of us are blessed with a green thumb, in fact mine may just be black. Despite my inability to keep a plant alive, I love having them all around the house. So today, i'm spilling my secrets for faking a green thumb. I'll be breaking down the houseplants that i've been able to keep alive easily as well as round up a few of the best faux plants i've found.

Easiest Indoor Plants
Aloe
Aloe plants get HUGE, and they're so simple to care for. I keep mine in a light spot in our home and water it every week or two. My trick for watering is to stick my finger in about an inch to see how dry it is. Once it's almost completely dry I add a bit of water and let it sit.
Assorted Succulents
I've got approximately 1000 succulents (and counting). They don't require a ton of water, light or work, so i'd suggest starting with them if you're a first time plant buyer!
Snake Plant
Apart from looking amazing, Snake Plants are so simple to care for. They require little light and don't die if you accidentally forget to water them. Fun Fact: This is my husbands favorite plant in our home!
Rubber Plant
I LOVE Rubber Plants for one main reason. They look just like Fiddle Leaf Fig trees, which are all the rage on Instagram, but they don't die. They do love a space with bright light, but make sure not to put them directly in the sunlight or they'll burn!
