Christmas At Home
'Tis the season to spend too many hours at Michaels, HomeGoods and Target searching for ways to deck the halls! #AmIRight
I've said it before, and i'm sure i'll say it again before the Holiday Season ends - but, I just adore this time of year. You'll always find our house completely decked out with Christmas scented Candles, cozy blankets and a tree that has an unnatural amount of ornaments on it. Needless to say, I wouldn't have it any other way!
My mom used to put up 9 (yes, 9) Christmas trees every year so I guess you could say I got my passion for all things holiday decor from her. We currently live in an apartment, so J and I only put up one tree. But, it's 9ft tall so we're certainly not missing out on anything!
When I first started thinking through our holiday decor this year, I headed over to West Elm, as their decor always gives me goosebumps. I instantly fell in love with these blush & cream stockings (on sale) and this tree skirt, which also happen to be hand crafted abroad. If you really love them, there's also a matching wreath that I have my eye on. I loved the colors and texture. But, more importantly, I loved that a portion of my purchase will help those in Nepal who were affected by the 2015 Earthquake.
After settling on Blush, Cream and Silver for our Christmas theme this year I headed out to track down some ornaments that would fit our "Mid-Century Modern" tree. I chose a few basic silver ornaments, some blush beauties and these gorgeous glass spirals to give it a bit of color. Pro Tip: Always grab a ton of garland and tulle to fill in the empty spots on your tree. It's really affordable and can be put in place so quickly!
Next, I picked up a few accent pieces like this adorable pillow, this throw, candles and these cute trees to throw around our apartment. With just a few simple additions our apartment completely transformed into a Holiday wonderland!

K
